About
Paula Crichton is a queer and Mexican filmmaker with a strong focus on visual and poetic storytelling. As a writer and director, she is known for her highly stylized metaphorical imagery combined with social statements, that create a magical realism that envelops her work. She attended Santa Fe University of Art and Design, and later transferred to Columbia College Hollywood where she acquired a BFA in Film Production with an emphasis in Cinematography. Currently based in Los Angeles, Paula spends her free time learning about history, thinking about new stories to tell, drinking tea, and playing with her two baby cats Balty and Binksy.
